The Lady Or LadyBoy Quiz – Can You Tell Which Is Which?

I think it was during my 4th visit to Thailand that my eyes were opened by a Thai friend of mine to the fact that many of the women that I had been ogling during my stay there were in fact men, or at least they were or had been once on some level. Like most travellers to Thailand prior to my visit I had heard all the jokes and jibes about watching out for ladyboys, and even prior to having ever considered my first visit to Thailand had heard all those stories (as I’m sure you have) concerning tourists or sailors who had met a girl in a bar, taken her back to his hotel only to be greeted by that little extra something that had left said tourist or sailor emotionally scarred for the rest of his life.

But the truth is that there is a very simple reason why I only began to notice just how many Ladyboys (or ‘Katoey’ as they are known in Thailand) there were frequently all around me on my 4th visit, and even then only once I had been educated by a native, that reason is because many of them are extremely beautiful, often more so than the genuine ladies, and believe me calling other men beautiful is not something that I usually make a habit of (although since your asking, if I did have to bed another man it would probably be Brad Pitt).

But enough now about my barely suppressed latent homosexuality, and lets find out how you’d fare on the pull within Thailand’s notorious bars and clubs.
